Support for Employers

Supporting staff with their mental health can be stressful and overwhelming at times. We offer a range of services to assist managers/team leads to effectively support their employees to remain in or return to work.

Meeting

Consultation

Dedicated 1:1 sessions with line managers or employers who are having difficulties supporting a particular individual or team with their mental wellbeing.

 

These sessions aim to:

 

  • Provide support to line managers/team leads

  • Allow a safe reflective space to problem-solve and identify solutions

  • Discuss specific cases in confidence

  • Action planning

​

 

Recommended for workplaces who have high sickness absence or specific employees who are causing concern for their safety and or others.

Training course

Training

Includes a variety of online learning and interactive workshops focusing on a range of topics such as:

 

  • Mental Health Awareness

  • How to support others with their mental health

  • How to enhance your own health and well-being

  • How to respond in a mental health crisis - when someone expresses suicidal thoughts or engages in harmful behaviours

  • How to enhance motivation

Recommended for all workplaces who are invested in improving the mental health and well-being of their employees. Mental health awareness and training initiatives have been shown to positively impact on employee well-being and help them to feel more confident in their role when supporting others.

Workplace Evaluation

Includes:

  • Support to complete a comprehensive workplace review to identify current strengths and areas for development in line with current standards.

  • SBAR report with recommendations to support a mentally healthy workplace

NICE (2009) recommends a strategic and co-ordinated approach to implementing wellbeing initiatives in the workplace. Through workplace evaluation and action-planning we can support you to achieve your legal obligations as an employer (Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974; Equality Act 2010).

 

Additional consultation to support the implementation of the action plan can be arranged if required.
