Providing children with a safe space to learn more about their mental health and well-being, facilitated by qualified & experienced health professionals. Over the 4 sessions, the children will learn practical skills to help manage difficult feelings whilst learning more about their own emotions and how to maintain their own mental health and well-being through various fun activities. Each child will be provided with their own workbook to aid their learning (included in the price). Light refreshments will also be provided (also included in the price). Session Format: Session 1: Introductions, creating a safe space and learning skills to manage very difficult emotions and stressful times. Session 2: An introduction to the benefits of mindfulness and exploring different ways to be mindful day to day. Session 3: Learning how to identify different emotions and explore different ways to help regulate them. Focusing on the importance of self-care and how to increase positive activities. Session 4: Communication skills - exploring ways to help communicate better with others. Promoting respect for self and others and trying out practical communication skills to use in everyday situations.
